Now's the time to get your Thanksgiving ducks (or turkeys) in a row for a fantastic holiday. I've just begun my own holiday planning, and I'm currently in the conceptual stage. However, knowing that my holiday table will be a little empty this year with the passing of my mother, I am very concerned that we create as jovial and yet as grateful of an environment as possible. So, before I've even started to think about planning the menu, the decor or the music choices, I've begun to invite the people with whom I'd like to share the day.
It doesn't matter if you don't yet know the time of the meal or if you don't have a formal, cornucopia-themed invitation tied with color-coordinated raffia! Just get on the ball and call the people on your guest list, so that they can block their Thanksgiving Day for your celebration.
