Take advantage of post-Halloween sales to replenish your Party Closet!
Here's a heads up to speed to your local discount store(s) on the morning of November 1st. The Halloween merchandise will generally be deeply discounted on Nov. 1st, and it's a great opportunity to fill your Party Closet with seasonal items.
Look for items that would work with a Halloween theme, an autumn theme or even the thematic colors of orange or black. Be sure to look for the following items that will fill out your closet: table linens, lights, silk flowers, candles (basic tapers, votives or tealights), and seasonal decorations like birdhouses, ornaments and other items that could add kitsch or punch to a tablescape.
Steer clear of ultra-specific items that can only be used for one type of party (candles in Halloween shapes, bowls with creepy hands in them) or items that are too delicate to store safely for an extended period of time.
