Tip of the Day #28

Take advantage of disposable cookware and service pieces to simplify your post-party clean up duties.

Most party stores, grocery stores and wholesale clubs (like Sam's or Costco) sell foil steam pans with covers. These are the inserts that you use to hold the food that is served in larger chafing dishes. These disposable pans with lids are sturdy enough to support the food in the chafer, cook the food in the oven or store & stack the food in the fridge.

At less than $1 per pan & lid, these items are cost-efficient enough that you won't feel guilty about tossing them instead of scrubbing them after the party!
