How to incorporate good BUFFET DESIGN into your entertaining scheme.

Practical Definition

Buffet design is the practice of arranging the food, serving pieces and decorations for an attractive and effective integration of form and function. It can be accomplished on any surface, from a kitchen counter, to a dining room sidebar, to a vertical shelving unit.

Example

The buffet design for the Decadent Dessert Bar was created on the buffet table by draping black satin fabric over a variety of levels, placing a selection of luscious desserts served on gold platters on the levels, and tucking red rosebuds in and around the various desserts.
