Decadent Chocolate Fondue
- In the top of a double boiler, mix 12 ounces of milk chocolate with ¾ cup of heavy whipping cream
- Melt chocolate and cream, over boiling water, stirring until smooth.
- Serve with dippers such as:
- Apple wedges soaked in pineapple juice to prevent browning
- Sliced bananas in one inch chunks
- Cubes of pound cake, angel food cake, or cheesecake
- Marshmallows (may be toasted first over an open flame)
- Strawberries (large enough to dip)
- Maraschino cherries (ideally with stems)
- Mandarin orange segments
