Romantic Coffee Date for TwoGreat Valentine's Date Night Idea for Sumptuous SensualityA third article in the series on creating romantic evenings for you and your special someone.
The final romantic date night presented in this three-part series is entitled Mochas and Me, and it will appeal to those sweethearts who are past the point of exchanging chocolates, sexy lingerie or elegant dinners. This date night idea has an urban, modern feel that will sing to the needs and lifestyles of both younger and older lovers. Make sure the soundtrack for this evening fits your tastes – cool jazz, hip urban sounds or whatever you both love and respond to. You can create this date night in your own home or at your local coffee shop. If you have the equipment to be your own barista, then by all means, start foaming the milk and pressing the espresso! Splurge on this evening and purchase some gorgeous hand painted Italian cappuccino cups. Obtain the accoutrements of any trendy coffee shop – cocoa powder, flavored syrups, great pastries and biscotti, freshly whipped cream (none of those canned aerosol non-dairy imposters are allowed for this night!), and whatever else suits the fancy of you and your honey. To implement the evening, you and your sweetheart can prepare your favorite caffeinated beverages and make an evening of it. This should be a fun and experimental evening. Try different combinations of flavors and beans. Add whip or serve your drink over ice. The fun of this evening is trying new things! The romantic part of this date night comes in sampling the beverages and in extending the experimental component of the evening over to the romance department! Take on the challenge to try kissing, caressing or massaging your significant other in a new manner, in an unusual location, or under an enhanced sensory stimulation. Make it fun and make the evening memorable! So when you add these three romantic date night experiences – A Date with Decadence, Your Sweetheart’s Spa and Mochas and Me – into your repertoire of entertaining ideas, you will be impressed with the impact that they can have. Remember that entertaining has many different facets – large parties, elegant dinners, and even afternoon coffee breaks – and that the common denominator is that you (the host) make every effort to have your guest feel welcome and special. Hospitality is the practice of showing warmth and friendliness to your guests, and this definition even extends to your day-to-day interactions with your loved ones. Entertaining is a state of being, and what better time of year to practice that than Valentine’s Day?
