At these parties you can do a number of things to celebrate your best friend, from having her wear a tiara, or submitting her with a collage of your long lived life together. You could serve her favorite dishes, wear her favorite color, or do her favorite activities. Which ever you choose, there's sure to be an outflow of tears of appreciation. Keep your youth alive by hosting a tea party for your best friend. Have your girlfriends bring along their favorite teddy bears or dolls and dress in their favorite tea party clothes! At this luncheon you could serve shortbread cookies, tea and finger sandwiches. For this special occasion you could break out the antique tea set that’s been passed down in your family from generation to generation.
This gathering would be nicely set in an outside garden, an enclosed deck/porch, or a room with a beautiful outside view.

If you have an herb garden, flower garden, or just a favorite shady spot in your yard, you could set up a table decorated with a tablecloth and serve an array of fresh brunch or lunch items. You could invite your friends over and have a certified spa technician come to your house and host total body spa treatments. Tell your friends to bring their most comfortable robes and slippers to relax in. Afterwards, they may feel so relaxed that they’ll need a designated driver as well. Be sure to keep plenty of bottled water, for hydration and light snacks on hand to further enhance the effects of your beauty treatments.
Cosmetic Party
Would you and your girlfriends like to be more glamorous? Invite a licensed make up artist to come over and make you all over like Hollywood stars. Want to feel even more glamorous? Hire a professional photographer to come over and snap photos of your fierce new looks. Have on hand an array of wigs and clip on hair extensions to accentuate your looks, as well as boas, hats, and faux fur minks.
Casino Party
Gather up some poker chips, martini’s and cigars and let the good times roll! You could opt for a number of casino games from black jack to a craps table. Check your local party supply rental place for casino game rentals. Some rental places even have their own dealers!
Waiting to Exhale Party
Your best friend getting over a traumatic break up? Invite some friends over to help cheer her up. You could pop open the wine and offer advice on how to heal. You could also rent “tear jerker” movies that’ll help you cry together and get it all out.
As women in today’s society and the many roles we play, we need to take time out to nurture each other, rebuild and strengthen ourselves so that we can be there for our loved ones.
