However, unless you're Martha Stewart, Christopher Lowell or another high end decorator and your budget is limitless, chances are your holiday tablescape looks nothing like those in the magazines. But with a little creativity, some hot glue and a trip to your local grocery store or discount store, you can elevate your table decor from mundane to extraordinary.
- Create an explosive decoration by making your own Christmas Crackers to decorate your holiday table with a festive atmosphere.
- Use fresh cranberries to highlight the bright colors of the season.
- Hollow out green Granny Smith apples and tuck a tea lights into the holes. Scatter them across the length of your holiday table, and add some pine boughs and fresh cranberries to complete the decor.
- Create a floral centerpiece with a holiday flair.
